PLANNING (UK)
Before any development can take place, including quarry extensions or new quarry sites, planning consent must be obtained from the Mineral Planning Authority, generally the County Council.
WBB MINERALS prepares planning applications and these typically comprise an Environmental Statement, a Planning Statement and a Non Technical Summary.
The Environmental Statement provides details of the assessment of potential environmental effects of the proposed development.
The Planning Statement describes the proposed development and the policy framework relevant to the application.
The Non Technical Summary provides a summary of the whole development presented in layman's terms.
